Censorship Conclusion

Figured I'd make yet another post rather than have everyone hunt around in all the other threads.

It appears that the censorship workaround does in fact work, which involves swapping a number around in a text file (you can find better instructions elsewhere). I've yet to test it myself but overall it appears to revert most if not everything back to the way it was before any censorship. Which should include Katya, and the 4* damaged skins. All 2d art should return to normal as well. Funnily enough, the way they went about the art censorship is almost worth keeping the text file unedited. Another thing is that you can no longer preview the removed 3d models if you don't own them, which I imagine is also fixed with the workaround.

Skins and outfits though are all currently gone from being purchased. There's no telling if or when they will return. Things can always change.

Rewards from the censorship are a bit delayed right now for some, so if you don't have anything yet you should see it by tomorrow. Additionally, although they're giving everyone until 2.4 to attain Katya, it does not currently sound like she will rerun on a banner. If you don't have her yet, and want the new skin, it's advised to use the selector for her.

Katya's censored outfit would legitimately looks so much better if they just removed the clear plate from her butt. It's completely incongruous with the new lines of her outfit, and looks so bad.

Nope. It doesn't bring them back to the UI. Which, I can see why you might want to be able to see outfits even if you can't have them, but I can all see why you wouldn't want to see outfits you can never have.

That file existing from long ago made me think the external push for censorship was already present all the way back then, SB success from the new direction is just the trigger.
