Sand of Secrets not playable?

I have no idea if I missed a sign or something but it's a simple question from a simple woman. Is the Sands of Secrets main story even playable right now?

I've been trying to play it and everytime I try to click to play the progress 1, it just says, "We are currently optimizing this. Thank you for your patience."
I literally feel stupid cause I've been letting this sit for like a couple weeks, in hopes that it was either not out yet or just a bug that the devs would fix, so can someone shed me some light?

I literally feel so dumb and unsure if I missed something. >.<

they said the rework will take between 3 to 4 weeks like 2 weeks ago after some sabotage by dei idiots or something.

It's a bit annoying that we can't play the story. I'll probably have no choice but to speed run the story once it does release depending how much time is left for the event. -_-;

Basically some CN otakus got really mad about some things in the new story like :

-Qingying (new girl) stepping on a male NPC before shooting them, they were upset a girl had physical contact with a guy who wasnt the MC

-Qingying being rude to the MC, they felt personally attacked because they self insert really hard into the MC

-Yao taking care of Fritia, they thought this was "yuri"

-Yao's name being pronounced in a way that sounds like "prostitute", they felt their "waifu" was insulted by the writer

-A male NPC had sex with a female villain that could shapeshift, the idea that they could shape shift into the operatives and have sex with male NPCs felt like NTR to them

-Some art had what looked like the numbers "01" which they claimed was a reference to a deleted male operative in closed beta called "Ling Yi" (01 in chinese). They claimed this was part of a feminist conspiracy to reference the deleted character.

The devs received numerous death threats, threats to burn down their offices, threats to sabotage their new game (Mechabreak) and some otakus showed up at their offices on a thursday night and camped outside.

The devs got really scared so fired everyone involved, gave out compensation and had to rewrite the story.

They fired two people and you also forgot that people who sabotaged the story also added tank man.

WTF? That's legit unnecessary to take to such extremes. :/
And here I thought talking it out was how we handled such predicaments.

it's honestly scary how extreme they get over there. I kinda liked tank man, he was cool. but now there wont be any more male npcs. the devs said they wont make more ever again. O_o

During the tianamen square incident, one guy stood infront of a column of tanks to block them. Just google "tank man tianaman square" if you want to see it. The government gets really mad whenever anyone talks about tianaman square so you cant talk about it in china.
