Uncensor method and Game future

For those who don't know how to uncensor, you need to go to your Steam file location.

\Steam\steamapps\common

And under the common file, you will find a text file named localization. Open it and change the content like below:

localization = 1

(If you don't know where's you game file,
you can go to steam click LIBRARY,
then find the SNOWBREAK and right click it,
click on the properties then click Installed Files.
Click the Browse button and it will open the game folder for you.
Once you've got the game folder click common in the folder path and it will direct you to the common folder,
inside you will find the localization file.
If you don't have it either use verify function from steam--library--game--properties or just created a text file that's name localization )

Remember to save your change, enter the game and you are good to go.

So far most of the content should be back to normal, however some art content in Album might still be in censorship mode. As far as I know, the developers will patch it later, but this is unconfirmed.

If you wondering about future content that might be conservative like Genshin Impact, don't worry. The creator 木木_MuMu__ already said in BiliBili that their design direction will not change due to censorship. If you watch the 2.3 PV you will understand. Or from the 2.3 story new character design (after they re-release the story mode), look at two giant torpedoes trapped in wire \(OAO)/.

Even due to the unforeseen pressure (we all know what it is), the game needs to have another censorship. Again, the localization method will work. Once you have changed the file, you will be fine unless you reinstall or need to install the game on a brand-new device, just like how Azur Lane works in China.

P.S. You don't need to warrior using this method might get your account banned. The localization file was created by the developers to avoid any possible censorship. This method (or little switch) is used by a lot of games in China to handle censorship.

Yeah, they want to "protect youth" from women, so guys will never be able to know, how sexy girls can be if they tried and they never know how to date girls, cuz of that dumb censorship. And I bet, girls also are just way too jealous of us guys seeing 2d girls in a lewd way. Their jealously needs to be eradicated ASAP, cuz we're not tools for them to use us for their own selfish desires.

This has nothing to do with downloading a game. JUST don't enter in Snowbreak's folder, cuz u only need to scroll down to see file called "localisation" on \Steam\steamapps\common.

To be honest why we even bother to play this game anymore if dev cant even keep their own word, lie after lie yet they still saying things like they are on player side. Seling something and then proceed to change is fk up thing to do.

U must be hella clueless about them, cuz they still do what they told us. It's just, u need to use a method, that they added, to play uncensored version. They do both censored for CN gov sake AND uncensored for our sakes.

lmao the censor didn't happen until around half a year ago, heck the game hasn't even reach 2 years old yet.

Came back to play after a while and this doesn't seem to work anymore? I'll try and reinstall the game. I play on linux but the method worked as it should for a long time until today.

Edit: It still works on the steam deck. Maybe installing it on an external drive on my desktop caused an issue with the game detecting the file. I'll double check after install but I'm pretty sure that's the problem, so false alarm.

Yep, still not working on my desktop for some reason.

Edit: I'm gonna try a few more things to fix it, but I emailed the developers to notify them of the issue.

Double edit: Nevermind I figured out the problem. I was using libreoffice to edit it and it must have altered the line ending of the file, and since the file ended up different the game couldn't see it. After remaking the file from scratch using vim it works fine.

No i was doing what I was supposed to. Libre office was breaking it.
