Need advice about the free gold weapon selector box

Hi all!

I like Haru Absco but I was wondering if 16-Psyche worth it because there's a 5-star kinetic pistol among the default gold weapons already.

I also like Eatchel but dunno how much her weapon would add to the team damage and her healing is already good enough.

Eccentric Joker seems like a nice support weapon. I don't have Tess yet. Is it good on other snipers?

The electric assault rifle Anti Evil-Ward seems versatile but nothing spectacular?

I don't have Katya so I'm not insterested in the crosssbow for now.

So what's worth picking in your opinion?

I don't want to be that kind of guy, but to provide the best advice, it would help if you could explain which characters you have, which ones you play most often, and how you configure your teams. This way, people can tailor their suggestions to your specific situation.

That said, Mauxir weapon is really good and she works well with most teams. If you don't have a solid DPS character, Chen weapon is a great option too, but again we do not have enough info, maybe you do not have those characters, or you have different needs based on your roster.

IMO, just pick who you enjoys playing most, it's a waifu game afterall. Aside from that:

-Haru and Star Ocean is fine. The battle pass weapon 4* Yojimbo fits her as well.

-Eatchel if you want her to shine, have even more ultility and bonus damage for your team then Blitz Fang. As for the damage bonus, so far from what i've tested with this week boss Woden lv 5, using Lyfe/Mauxir/Eatchel (Rock Python) final time is 85s. After switching Blitzing Fangs for Eatchel it went down to 70,2s. So around 15s better.

-T5 Wasp for Tess for now is enough to get you around 1% in Neural Sim ranking, if you want even more damage bonus then pick Eccentric.

-Chenxing i have no comment, i've failed her 50/50 twice so i dunno lmao.

As for my available roster:

Built and leveled up: Infinite Sight, Ksana, Exuvia, Enigma, The Cub, Absconditus, Coronet, Winter Solstice

Not leveled up: Wild Hunt, Hush

As for gold weapons: I only have Lyfe Infinite Sight's gold dual pistols and that cold damage 5-star sniper the game gives you (which is used by 4-star Yao for now).

I can buy one soon from the 480 shop and I'm also close to the pity on the default gold weapon banner. I was thinknig of getting Fenny Coronet's electric shotgun that fires extra pellets.

A pity I can't get Cherno's 5-star weapon from the box.

AS relatively new player that has some experience in other gacha, I went the support route meta wise. In most games like this you'll generally only have 1 DPS (2 here at most since 2 teams) then the rest are support. It is easier for one good support to support all your characters in the future, than it is for one DPS to always be the shining beacon. Mauxnir Alloy Truth will take some time before it ever stops being good.

Afterwards however, I'm not sure yet who or what I'm getting. I think Siris is what I want in terms of purely liking her, though she's apparently strong too.

I wouldn't reccomend you to use 480 Reward Code for those weapons cause they are standard weapon that are tied with Standard 5* which required high Manifestation level to even caught up with the recent character. I would use those for pulls tbh. Not to mention you could get those randomly when pulls 130 times in the guaranteed banners or failed 50/50 in the standard. If it's for your waifu then sure go ahead lol.

Cherno's gonna get a rerun soon i think after Eatchel.

I agreed, so far the "safest" option for f2p is to pick support weapon (DISCLAIMER: ONLY PICK PINE AURORAS FOR ACADIA IF YOUR DPS IS FROST else just use the f2p Prismatic), next to the 30 weapon component. But i would wait till Fenny Sunshine comes out then decide, if shes a broken SP then T2 her weapon with the components isn't a bad idea.

Siris got everything from AOE to Burst with awesome subskill and her whole kit scaled with HP making her tankier, imo the best DPS you could invest in rn. She's extremely strong with Manifestation 3 and only goes up from there.
