Not to get your hopes up, but if you purchased the wedding dress of Lyfe/Fenny, they will wear their wedding rings in base. This shows that modifications to existing character models in base is possible, at least if it's just some accessories. This is also one of the more common and vocal requests in the CN community, so the devs aren't likely to ignore the possiblity.
Now, to discourage you, it might take a while to get out, and it might be a paid feature, so I'm sure not everyone would be thrilled. But the adjutant already has an alternative look, so new base outfits for the girls are almost a certainty. We can still only hope, however.

If there were alt clothes, it could better reflect each op's personality.
Plus it gives us something to spend those opal vouchers on after collecting all furniture pieces, not a bad idea.
