Unit censorship and outfits removal list

If you havent heard, the CCP is big mad and some Snowbreak content between 1.1 and 1.7 will be affected by their wrath. Heres a comprehensive list:

Units affected by censorship:

Cherno - Enigma
Haru - Absconditus
Katya - Blue Bolt

If you own an affected unit, then you get to keep their original outfit and get the new one as extra. There will be a sticker on the cleavages of their 2D splash images until the patch is applied. Will probably be applied with the next version update

The following outfits will be removed:

Fritia - Hush [Nimble Hare]
Tess - The Magician [Merry-in-Exile]
Fenny - Coronet [Slopestyle Diva]
Lyfe - Wild Hunt [Ice Dancer]
Katya - Blue Bolt [Graceful Danseuse]
Fritia - Hush [Symphony of Frenzy]
Acacia - Kaguya [Allure of Lotus]
Eatchel - The Cub [Overdue Radiance]
Fenny - Coronet [Sugar Queen]
Cherno - Enigma [Apprentice Maid]
Enya - Exuvia [Kiss Be the Remedy]

They will be up for purchase from the 27th to 29th of August. After that, gone forever

Enyas interactive mode will be removed as well. No purchase option for that one

The only thing that doesn't make sense is, this applies to things before the rating change. So why can't they just rerelease to be covered.

Thats why it makes sense. Everything after the rating change is fair game. Got released during the old rating tho, so it has to go. Doesnt look like its possible to simply rerelease the stuff, or they would definitely just do that

Releasing this game again might cause more complications, such as attracting even more unwanted attention. What's more, there is no 'rating' in China as of yet. As long as certain people set their sights on you, any game can get the censor hammer at any time.
The devs stopped allowing underage kids to play helps a LOT, but this is not an out-of-jail free card. If not for the important bigwig behind this studio (Lei Jun, who is responsible for one of the most software companies and Xiaomi), Snowbreak would have long been censored to hell and back and there again.
There are a LOT, A LOT of people wanting to see this game dead. Woke 'feminists', other game devs hating competition and their cultists ect.

I didn't see whether they were going to rerun Katya or not in terms of through echoes. So many would likely pull her if it was the case.

this sucks i wanted katya however i prob never get her so lose lose
her new look looks bad based on the pic they show in the notice.
welp time to delet all her stuff i saved (i got her best crossbow maxed and all her supports) thats so much waste of time and resorces

another discussion did i think go over what seems to be happening well and i hope things like this are more temporary things given seems these changes were forced on them by their government and not a company choice something to do with a upping of their age rating so maybe things if we luck out might improve in the long run

though censorship defiently deserves to be criticised and kept a eye on at minimum

i do also wonder why those specific outfits were selected

Yeah, that's why most people are saying to wait for the 2.2 update and see how the skins that release for that patch look. The only outfits that are being changed are from 1.7 and below since that was before the change of the age rating. Which could potentially mean they can even go more lewd in later updates.

Yeah, that's why most people are saying to wait for the 2.2 update and see how the skins that release for that patch look. The only outfits that are being changed are from 1.7 and below since that was before the change of the age rating. Which could potentially mean they can even go more lewd in later updates.

do hope that is the case just a mix of them adjusting stuff do to age rating stuff and not being forced to bow to the demands of people wanting to destroy their business etc along with maybe a few general upgrades on some characters and future designs that they can do now given it has a higher age rating
