People don't recommend using digicash on the normal banner as well as not going for the 5 star weapon banner unless you really like the operative you are using. You really don't have to go for "meta builds" since that would only help you get on the 1% in the leader board for neaural simulation. As an f2p you shouldn't even worry about that.
As for getting dupes to increase your manifestation levels, you also really don't have to worry about it as much as a f2p. You just farm the extracts daily in the personal files. You can read a bit more about dupes here: www.reddit.com/r/SnowbreakOfficial/comments/1dlfglt/still_confused_about_dupes
That's weird that you're getting kicked from lobbies because you don't have the "right character" or "weapon" seeing that none of that matters in this game. Most people will just join lobbies play and that's it. That's really unlucky of you to encounter that kind of thing, really weird as well.

i get same resones every time they are kicking me either i don't have a character or don't have the weapon for the character im useing.
the issue is often enough that it compounds.

Yes i know they can be gotten daily limit for OWNED chars however its really bad getting the same one that u don't want in the event rolls when u do get a special drop. As stated above the sniper girl every time when i dont use her NOR have what id even need to make her usable especially when there are MULTIPLE others i have not gotten. thats all on top of the community issue and kicks iv had.
Dups do not bother me as much if it wasnt same one every time (the one i wont use nor have weapons for or mats to even build her) and the fact i dont have the event character i was going for. (like if i was to get a character i wanted even when rolling for the event it wouldnt be as bad)
extracts are not the issue though u get way to little and ur LOCKED from other character extracts if u don't own that char EXCEPT when pops up in the store where u get only one for the character u don't have (u can build any character if u get 60 extracts of the character u don't have the problem being there is VARY little ways to get characters u don't have extracts to even attempt this method that is in the game)

I don't recommend it either. if u have the rolls avalible from the tikets then spin them but don't wast DIGI on that
(there is not enough days left in event to even roll another 100 for the 2nd event character)

oh and the kicking and reasoning happens almost every time i try any coop mode eventually ill be able to play but tacks much longer and the kicking is way to often for me
That is why most of the time it doesn't matter what characters you are using when you play Co-op. I think you get kicked because you are using purple-tier characters. If you have the orange-tier character it shouldn't be a problem. Also, I always Solo the Co-op stage, even in this event.
As a side note, do people normally check the weapon you are using in Co-op?
this is true but not the point i was talking about. also the extra boost to coop stuff actuly is nice to have so u gota have at least one of the chars however thats not really what was talking about.

correct and incorrect. yes any character can complete anything (good design by the way) however most of the people iv ever met get upset over not having right character or weapon for them. also when the only characters u have that are even eligible for the extra connection boost are purple-tier u use the purple-tier. iv never been kick over purple-tier before only not having specific character or not having the right weapon for character i use.
Note: purple-tier characters are not so weak that would be an issue (also the fact testing orange-tier sniper girl to her purple-tier counterpart shows her purple-tier is much better then her orange-tier. which is part of the compounded issue with getting her orange-tier multiple times and not a different orange-tier getting no value outta the roll, and the kicking).

From what i have delt with Yes (idk about stats or anything like that as iv only been kicked for not right character or not the right weapon character should use. So technically could be none-upgraded weapon thats for that char and that be fine but that would also require the orange-tier weapon for that char. as far as know u cant see states of other peoples characters in party so can only look at what u have visible as far as i can guess. idk if u can check stats of other player characters. never tried. but iv been told i was being kicked for not having a character or the character im using don't have the right weapon and was told some harsh words then the kick happens. iv not really been kicked for anything buy characters or weapons never about Rarity at least from what i have experienced.)
this was my experience though so i expect it to be much different to each person.
all i do is keep trying till i dont get kicked then play if i get lucky i can get few good games in the coop modes.
If you're not able to get the crossbow girl, just save up your pulls for the next event (anniversary) character instead. This way there's no way you will miss it. Make sure to pull on the 100% event banner only
TBH, the sniper girl is one of the highest DPS in the game. Especially if you have multiple of her and unlock her Manifest 1. But there are 2 sniper girls. IDK which one you got but If you do get both, one of them is the best one.
Also, which Co-op game that you play? I used to play Co-op when I first unlocked it and had to use my only Orange-Tier character (at that time), the high and mighty Fritia-Hush (one of the worst in the game). I never got kicked or anything even if I used the 3-star Frost gun (Hush is Fire). So, your situation is really weird in many people's eyes.
I think most of the players never experienced what you had described before. Considering I always play solo after I reach character level 60. Yes, it's Fritia-Hush. I was still able to fight decently and win in Co-op most of the time. Sometimes, the timer runs out before I can kill the boss. But I blame it on Hush and her 3-star Frost weapon.
She was out paced dps wise to her purple-tier counter part (haven't done anything with her after the tests i did as it was vary noticeable difference when matched. and i gave the best fit weapon i had at the time to each that best fits there element strength)
Solo is something i can do has have level 70 characters i use that are set up best i can. however i do like playing with others when i wanna do the coop stuff faster.
Fritia-Hush is sopose to use thermal dmg full auto rifle (her entire kit is based on that) 2nd weapon availability is prob a thermal burst rifle or either type rifle kinetic.
she will be more effective with a thermal dmg weapon then most other weapons however. ( i dont have her however after realizing each character had a perfured element weapon i did the testing with what i had only chars i couldn't test was wild Hunt Lyfe as i dont have a frost weapon for her to give proper tests for her (though just using kinetic weapon she is powerful). some characters might be harder to match with right element but is doable.
using any element not there core element use (some mention this some dont) does less then character using a kinetic weapon while a weapon using the core element they have does more (plus has added stuff depending on character progress)
thats what i found during testing at the time.
so yah kinetic is best weapon if u dont have a weapon of there element. granted dosn't matter id say to give the best possible outcome for a character give them there element weapon or a kinetic weapon.
Now for all things said every character has a orange-tier [Correction: some characters only have purple-tier as a suggested best however im certain a orange-tier weapon would be better if correct element though agin cant test till i have orange-tier weapons] weapon that best suits them and that will put there damage much higher. (the free one i got from when i joined this game was a frost sniper however was only good with Yao purple-tier. when testing didnt use the legendary i used best purple weapons for both at same level and all that to fair test. now that being said there is a high chance that the weapons for them actually balance them out or make them hell of alot stronger however i cant really test this as i got only one orange-tier weapon)
what im saying a moment ago is that using best element to character not min max. to be fair this is not noticeable unless ur strictly testing for it so doesn't really matter..... though should use kinetic or perfured element as character will perform better. (i tested on one of the story bosses to see how fast to kill for each thing i was testing for in different instances which i found kinetic is a good base line Unless that is the perfured element and using the right element makes them more effective and off element makes them slightly weaker then kinetic (is more noticeable when resistances come into play however not important as far as i know thats only relevant in the boss challenge thing.
edit: tests where done with what i have so any character i dont have was obviously not tested the only character i had and couldn't complete test that i had was Wild Heart as i dont have any purple-tier weapons for her.
She is one of the best DPSs out there!! Granted, you'll need her Manifest 1 to reload her Magazine with her skill while using Ultimate. I didn't have her weapon yet but I do have a Thermal sniper rifle which is still good. In fact, with Logistics she could potentially deal very high damage with her Ultimate. IIRC, the Logistics give +50% damage on the next shot after reloading. Since her skill reloads the weapon with one bullet, she'll get the buff every time she uses her skill.
Also, I didn't use Fritia-Hush anymore. Not since I got my girl Yao. Although, I still didn't use her until I got her to Manifest 1. But along the way I did try to use her and she is really good. Especially fighting the boss who doesn't move.
PS. Right now I mostly use Cherno-Enigma and Enya-Exuvia. Which I consider cheating because they are really good.
i generally run a random number generator to pick 3 characters for the day and play.
Yao's purple-tier is way stronger for me then the orange-tier. i don't have any sniper that is thermal. and the 1 free legendary weapon was a ice element sniper from the quest set. was for Yao purple-tier. So with what i have Yao is still best on purple-tier for me.
also the healing is kinda nice.
there was a character set up that i used once. when they have right nuronics set up (not the extracts required one) u can get a cool combo using aoe attacks. first aoe sets it up the second triggers however u need one character with her ability (next time im on ill try tack a pic of the team well part of the team and the one im using that isn't really part of set up)
left most character has a passive that when a aoe attack ability hits it pulls out orbs weak to abilities
Right character support ability is a aoe freeze which triggers the ability above
center character has an active ability that has a big aoe that will hit the orbs and the mobs connected to each orb thus doubled damage (granted thats not counting any buffs or nerfs that may tack place just the fact ur basically hitting same mob twice per tic of damage is nice
maybe once i have a thermal sniper yao orange-tier will do better but will have to see

She can probably kill everything by herself, by just only using her skill and ult. She is probably like 3x stronger than your other chars at your current level. Just make sure to level her up and use her event weapon (purple weapon in the event shop).
i use her she is level 75
neronics completed

i gave her a thermal shotgun was from the event shop also level 70
her and wild heart are the closest to max atm
just missing a good freeze smg for Lyfe.
however i get kicked even with her usually as either not right character or its not the orange-tier weapon. agin eventually u get someone not gonna kick but takes time sometimes takes hours sometimes like today i can get few quick coops in.
any ways its mostly about fun for all i know it could also be because it may not be fun playing with certain characters on the team. they could just be upset, veiw the character as not fun to have on a team for coop. who knows either way bad experiences. As of right now community feels unwelcoming could change down the line but agin if all u get is the worst part u may never see the kind part or something along those lines.
