SNOWBREAK

SNOWBREAK

i quit NIKKE recently, how well is this game?
I been hearing some things about this game, and i am interested to try it out but i want to know if it's any better than what's been said, i recently quit NIKKE because it was impossible to progress without paying (I have 3 NIKKEs fully limit breaked but the combat power is not enough to finish Eden chapter or engage in Endgame content, my only playability is Towers, Simulation Room, Interception S and Events like the current Trony's. ) I am hoping that i won't have a similar experience with this game.

Well your description is part for the course in gacha games. Doesnt matter what game it is, you will reach a point where you either pay or slowly grind for days and days and days. While Snowbreak is fun its a gacha at heart so just fyi. These games are designed to either play them for months/years or pay and blast through the content and reach the same point of doing your daily missions etc.

Nikke is easier than snowbreak in that regard, Snowbreak has a hard stop with leveling around 60 something level. but you can go through the story no problem.
if you want to play through the story, snowbreak is good enough

I got to the endgame of both.
but some content in Snowbreak will pair you with level80 people and for that you will need to level your character

Well I dont know about Nikke, but in snowbreak you can pretty much clear all content without spending. But just knowing how to build a solid DPS. They give you a standard SSR pick and they do fine enough if built correctly.

Fenny, Yao and Lyfe are pretty much the recommended, Followed by Fritia and then Marian, which are still viable if you like and play them. I'd recommend Fenny myself, as she has 2 4star electric weapons awhich are easier to get than their 5star weapons. Lyfe and Yao sorta rely on their 5star weapons and getting them is spending money.

Thats just a brief short description. , make sure you research and ask questions if you want to follow a solid plan for team building as a new player. You'll need to develop two teams for some cotent.

It's not impossible without paying in Nikke, you just need time. You can win with combat power being red, but you need better teamcomp and know timings of when to burst. That's how gacha games go, Nikke just decides to put walls in main story instead of lategame content. Not saying it's a good thing, but as f2p who is caught up on main story in Nikke, I know you're wrong about needing to pay - all of us been stuck for months at a time, but dailies and events are where the gameplay of many gachas at.

Never been an easier time to get into Nikke although you did miss the free 3* during the half Anni but they did make it to where you can level up to 200 but can't go past it unless you have 5 3* Nikke's. So that gets you past chapter 16-28 so you can farm endgame equipment. I have see folks who don't even bother leveling past 200 and upgrade their Overload Gear.

As For Snowbreak you don't need to spend at all due to all. Most 4* operators are great you can clear all content and do well enough with them. During events every operator has a F2P weapon that can be farmed to max.

That's a flat out lie. Nikke just takes time. You get loads of resources. Sure maybe this week you can't pass those things but next week you probably could and so on and so on.

For Nikke, In exchange for stamina system we get the wall for the story thats fine and it is doable to get past the wall purely being F2P it just takes time and if you are being smart with your summon as well. It took me about 2 month to get over the wall just saving those standard tix since they given those out like candies every event and not to mention the silver card to trade for a dupe plus they given you free dupe in your inventory and anniversary usually given out character with max dupe it is entirely possible for any f2p to get over it without paying. You just gotta prioritize in getting the dupe instead of new character like me which is why it take a while.

Any gacha game will hard cap you at some point even in Snow because snow has stamina system and when you reach lv 50 it will feel slow afterward, its worth a try since its a good side gacha game.

This game is better than Nikke imo. Stellar Blade is the best thing to come out of Nikke.

I pulled 50 times with my saved gems just to get Soda and Blanc instead of the nikkes wishlist that i needed for limit break.

I wasn't smart, i should've got 3 Kilo, now i got 2 kilo limit break, maybe next time when they do anniversary hopefully they give out the same gift item so i can get her limit break third final.

Anyway, i've been playing Snowbreak, it's quite alright although i wish they would explain what any of those banners mean on the gacha menu.
