I'm not saying Haru's inconsistent, I'm saying that Enya and Siris becoming bigger on their default outfit is inconsistent. I'm discounting outfits because I know for a fact that the devs are gonna pander hard to sell the outfit. If the argument is that the alternate outfit explains the next default outfit, you're putting the same problem just on an earlier point. You're telling them that they have to make a big-tiddy outfit of that operator first before they make a 5* version with a massive pair. It's not addressing the issue that's raised here which is them making Azure Lane levels of heft on operators nobody expected to have.

and I don't actually disagree with the point. there's absolutely a "too big". but that's how these people get their hooks in: make a point that's not really wrong into something that's suddenly an "issue" and create artificial pressure with bots to back them up so companies tone down the looks of characters, when it was just "some guy" whose not really sure if he even is into women....
that said, I also don't want mega huge breasts suddenly... but Siris is fine. I find the medical chick, Enya? the one with the nurse outfit to be a bit too big... but it's not at the level of being unappealing. it just seems like they're just so far outside what her body could produce that it makes it look unreal and thus not that appealing. but it doesn't bother me really. what bothers me more is that pistols are such garbage weapons in this game... and that SMGs aren't much better
but there should absolutely be a space for girls with well shaped but not huuuge breasts in this game. after all, that's what the artwork showed.
I find it questionable though to have this discussion... I have not noticed any trend of any kind.
Cherno looked so cute in the launcher opening last month. there should be a place for girls like her with well shaped but smaller breasts.
but telling this to a company in the current climate that seemingly gleefully produces man-shaped women with no breasts and ugly and old faces is such a counterproductive and bad move overall.
that's why I'd argue to completely stop even having this discussion. it leads to nothing good.
Agave (if she ever becomes playable) is absolutely unappealing. she has monster breasts that don't look human.
I take Cherno's over that any day.

in general, I think the issue is also that a lot of the bigger chests are not shaped well. there's something off with them. they don't look like it's anything but bags with water... it sounds weird, but that's my only way to describe it. real breasts from women at age 20 are firm (if they're healthy). even if they're big.
I think the issue with Siris chest is that they don't look right. they are weirdly spaced (maybe a visual effect subjective to me, based on costume design or color)... I just feel they don't look like they should.
Raven II / Raven 2 the Korean game has some girls with bigger and smaller chests, but they all look perfect. even really big ones look "normal", not like water bags.
in general, all the girls are very appealing (besides the mech-arms lady) but there's something off with a few of the girls when it comes to chests.
Therein lies your problem.... you're cherrypicking.
End of the day, Haru's design has been made to be the cool, slick and capable type whereas Enya's already very clearly made out to be the big tibby onee-san type ala Atago from Azur Lane.
And... no? The argument is that the character motif is set out clearly from the beginning for each character, hence why there's little to no backlash to Enya and Cherno's adjusted proportions. They're within expectations still and we can tell who they are just from a passing glance. Siris' on the other hand is a bigger leap than anything by miles design-wise. You can slap a different name on her and newer players might buy into that.
Heck just look at Siris' default 5 star and her alt outfit. The alt one has a less bombastic jump in proportion than her default one even if it's a leap over her 4 star proportions. Reckon if they stuck with her outfit's proportion for her base 5 star design, we wouldn't be seeing this much of a noise about it really (as minor a noise as it may be).
At this point, I'd wager people would have less reservations about her design if they kept her circular headpiece (even if it's slightly altered), more focus on the left shoulder armor and some kind of hoody to keep the tacticool vibe going ala Haru's.
Thankfully we only have Nita left for a redesign so here's hoping they keep the "upgrades" in check. It's all about design and motif consistency between the existing characters to their upgraded ones while delivering the fanservice.

and those ESG uglification has not much place in anime style to begin with idk how could you connect between the two.
The trend we are talking here is about the in-game chest size increase, it's started since Haru Fogbound event, her orange tier is quite an upgrade from her purple tier, then Enya&Yao got size upgrade in summer patch too with their summer skins, then Cherno, there were some questions about the upgrade but people did comparison, shared the picture and they all are in arguable/acceptable area.
and you are talking about artistic preferences, that's ok but that's different from the main topic, which is "the massive change on petite character", it's not Cherno's level of small upgrade(and she has story written for her to justify the change btw. The moment she was separated from Meursault, She got new look), Siris's now even bigger than most characters, no way she just get 300% increase from B cup to E cup like that out of nowhere.
For Siris the heart growing 3 sizes is just a christmas miracle.
Nita and both versions of Mauxir are not very fun to play, so their poor performance is almost certainly based on that alone, Frita suffers from being an Assault Rifle user that doesn't actually want to shoot the Assault Rifle, so there's a dissonance there that also ruins the impression.
Look at what Siris 4* and Siris 5* do in terms of numbers and skill effects: 4* is so basic it's almost uncharacteristic for the game as a whole and barely has any impact, 5* requires you to read two encyclopedias to explain that you press a button twice and everything in front of you dies.
how they treat characters and manage game is up to them, so i don't claim much though, i may be away from this game with a bit of disappointment.
I didn't. I assumed the common comparison which is the default outfit. I've already said the reason why and you just added more with your Ksana alternate outfit comparison. They are conflicting/inconsistent across the board. Quiet Quitter's Enduring Valor isn't consistent with the default outfit that it says it came from while all of Fenny's is consistent with little to no change.
Mind telling me what the motif of those two are?
Talk about looking down on people. We're talking about body shape and your wager is that people will be okay if they just to slap her 4* headpiece on and copy Absconditus' design.

for example, アガベ(idk how her name is written and called in English, sorry) is well anticipated by ppl to be a playable operative as big booba girl from i look.
personally i am always welcome any kind of girls(巨乳 or 貧乳 or whatever) implemented into the game :)
