Lunch Money Boon

Is there a reason why when I choose the lunch money boon that it does not seem to actually be added to the rest or be active? Maybe it is locked to certain difficulties but every time I choose it, nothing happens?

Can you remind us what Lunch Money is supposed to do? There are over 50 boons and those of us who like this game a lot probably don’t have half of them memorized by name, and without a wiki to quick reference makes it hard without the game open. I’ve probably picked each boon at least a few times and have yet to encounter one that was genuinely bugged. There are a few that seem like they synergize with something on the surface, but require a few reads to understand why they don’t when you notice it’s not working how you expected.

Lunch Money may have been one of those and some of us might be able to help figure out if it’s not a bug, but a feature… or possibly a bug… I would avoid asking Todd Howard for help with this though.

No offense but it would take less time to open the game and look at the unlocks page than type two paragraphs about my failings to properly ask a question. You could just as easily have stopped after your first question if nothing else.

Lunch Money is an uncommon boon that says: "Each holder makes 5 deposits"

The nature of my problem was not that the boon gets added to the top of my screen when I select it and I can't figure out how it synergizes, its that when I select it nothing happens, the boon does not show up next to the others, and the effect does not trigger

So.
When you get the boon that says "get five rerolls"
And the boon doesn't stay on the screen, what do you suppose happened?

Same thing here. It's a once-off effect that grants each Holder 5 ticks.

It's a type of trigger. That holds things. Piggybonk, for example.

Ah, I see. For some reason the description saying "makes" made it seem like it was going to apply in the future (during a drop) to me, but your answer make sense. I thought the holders I had kept the same amount of deposits when I chose that boon but I must have been mistaken

I will piggyback off this by saying that with regards to this boon, it does not work with the Closet trigger. It is easy to overlook that Closet is a “Unique” and not considered a “Holder.”
