Vending Machine Empty?

Hi There!

Was wondering if anyone else had an issue with the vending machine going empty and if there was a fix for it? Vending machine was full yesterday and started playing today and just found it this way. Have tried a couple things, but can't seem to get it back working!

Hi there, sorry you're having an issue. Can I just double check that you have not used the unlock content button in the profile section? If you have unlocked all content there the vending machine will appear empty.

yes its the ball machine, not the content unlock

I have the same (or a similar) issue. First day, I had things to unlock and did so - so I've seen the mechanic for unlocking/drafting new stuff.

Second day when I returned the unlock machine was empty and I appear to have all difficulties unlocked on all maps without having to beat previous difficulties etc.

It's been like that since, game is still fun but was hoping I'd be able to reset progress or something because I don't feel I've earned it (and not 100% sure whether the unlocks have actually unlocked, or just disappeared)

Thanks for the quick response! I didn't click any buttons on the settings menu as far as I'm aware of. Just happened to be empty the next time I checked it.

Same here! I'm confused if I actually have everything or not. Feels like I have all the same items I used to own on previous playthroughs.

When you go Ballipedia, do you see any padlocks instead of icons? If not, then you have everything. If you do see padlocks, but vending machine is empty, that's a problem.

You can also go to Profile > Unlocks where it tells you many triggers and boons you've unlocked out of the total amount.

Went to find the Ballipedia and think I found what I'd done.

In the "Profile" menu under the "unlocks" tab there's a button that says unlock which apparently unlocks everything. I think I'd clicked that before when going through the menus but hadn't quite realised what it had done.

Then I also found the "reset profile" option in the "reset" tab.

I hadn't realised these options existed before when I was trying to find a reset button as they were under "profile" and I had looked in the settings menu and not realised I should have been looking in the profile menu.

Sorry you experienced that. :( The first patch will include a change that only "overrides" unlocks, without actually changing the state of what you've unlocked, so you will be able to easily revert the override. v1.0 actually changed the unlocked-ness, permanently, which wasn't a good idea :( Very sorry again.

Just got the chance to read through everything, and I might've done that as well as I was flipping through the settings a bit. Do you revert profile to get the unlocks back?

Hi happy, if you go to the reset tab on your profile you can reset the content, this will completely reset all unlocks to zero, so you'll need to earn them again and claim them at the vending machine.

I just dropped by to report this and saw this thread. Hmmm ... It's still a bug, I can see "Unlocks (30)" and nothing to unlock in the vending machine, and yet have never accessed "unlocks" so this is happening without me having caused it. I saw those unlocks after having gained the "One Drop Milli" achievement, which, as I remember, at that point the game informed me "ballionaire+ unlocked". Perhaps a clue as to what's happening?

Indeed everything is unlocked under ballipedia, so, good to bonk.

"Unlocks (30)" means you have 30 credits. Not there are 30 items to be unlocked.

When you go to Profile > Unlocks, what does it tell you about how many Boons and Triggers are unlocked?
