Desert Farm feels more like management vs idle
I hate seeing the dead crops and can't help but keep an eye on it and try to figure out a way to prevent that. I wish there was a way to direct water bots to certain crop beds. Does anyone have tips for this farm and how to best avoid dead crops without having to overthink things? hahaha help

I don't know how to upload screenshots in discussion, but if you look at my steam's screenshots there is a layout i use only for unlocking the next map. You actually don't need to care about watering crops at all (credit to optimal vertical farm guide, i adopt their layout). I only use the first patch of land and afk to get enough biofuel to pass the map.

edit: nvm i figured it out

The answer is rush berries. Spam berries. Profit.
They don't use water. Once they start harvesting, you make so much biofuel it's silly. It's fully automated so no actions need doing. Just let it sit for a few hours and you can hit hundreds of thousands of parts by converting. I set it up and went to work, came back and bought all the expansions and then moved on.
Thank you both! I didn't think about the berries at all. I ended up just spamming water and harvest bots for six 4x4 crop beds until I was sure I saw no more dead crops. Hahaha, I will use these ideas!
I use this layout. I do not have issues with dying crops, but I do have all the bots fully upgraded:

I also have Rusty and Haiku with watering as 3rd priority (Move, Build, Water, Harvest, Biofuel).
