Unlocking New Worlds

Hello,

I just maxed out my starter world. I got almost all the vegetables, bushes, animals, and other achievements required, but I'm left with the world ones. How do I switch to them? I've bought everything on the default map, but despite unlocking the next one, I can't switch to it and can only start a new game. Is this how the game is intended? Does your progress completely reset, and do you have to start from the beginning?

How can I switch back to my old world without loading a save? I thought it would just involve moving left or right or pressing a button—not a full restart.

Can you advise?

Yes, you start over on every new map. It's not as bad as it sounds, once you know what you're doing it's quicker to progress the next time :D

You don't lose your old farms either, you can load back into them from the main menu

Decided to carry on. I just unlocked the Sand World. Will try to max out and get the 666 achievement before I warp up with the world, then I'll just do the rest of the worlds.
