[Bug] Slate out of bounds

I left my farm running over night trying to grind some of the final achievements, and when I came back in the morning I've noticed that the amount of fossils I've gathered stayed the same. I looked for Slate to try and figure out why - and it turns out he just traveled so far off the map - he wasn't even close to anything in my farm.

This definitely needs to be addressed - what is the point of having him if he can just decide he wants to travel to outer space?

Can confirm that Slate wanders off on my farm as well. Seeing as he is a lategame bottleneck for two achievements, this kinda sucks.

I noticed this too. To get him to atleast come back, you can save and quit, and reload the game. That puts all the "NPCs" back to their houses.

update to my above comment. I built a new farm, and that didnt make him do anything. But I spent my saved up fossils (enough for 1 cow 1 pig) and he started working again. He seems to stop when hes mined just over enough to buy 1 of each animal.
