Is there a gameplay-use for Decorations?
Does adding paths etc. actually do anything for pathing efficiency or is it just for the good looks?

Splunk doesn't follow the signs, also once a sign is placed you can't delete it without getting rid of the full crop once you're past the 666 plot point this is an eye watering 128k per plot. Very expensive to change a sign!
