[Mod] Editing sprite sheet

Does anyone know of a way, to input my own custom characters or changing assets, nothing against the current design, i would like to just put some personalisation in it, which would be great for something i can keep running in the to populate my desktop.

ive tried doing some google, but cant find anything conclusive.
(also does anyone know the purpose of the chattersheet in Folder Streamingassets are for?)

I came here for the same thing. I was hoping I could customize the game a bit like I do with stardew.

The character sheets that are provided for us though I think are for the twitch integration.

It would be interesting to mod it, that way you can have your own universe.

i've tried replacing the sheets (with one i've been working on) in the StreamingAssets but nothing works, even with restarting the game and steam, the chatters still show the vanilla bots.. thought it was that easy to just change them
