Edit:
The ability to turn off the biofuel spinners would help, too.
Feeder Bot seems to me would like to choose a variety of crops to transport (though I also observe that it occasionally delivers the same crop twice in a row), so having plenty of wheat+radish+cabbage significantly reduce the chance of expensive crops being used.
However I did check and it won't keep the Feeder Bot from expensive plants completely-mine with max capacity somehow loves garlic and pepper and will feed animals with it even if there's 1 in stock with hundreds of cheaper plants...I feel bad for my cutie pigs and cows :( (having no knowledge about how they'd like to be fed in real life though
Biofuel bots however choose completely randomly.
Use the Splunk signs from the decorations to determine what gets grown. And grow 4 low crops on them for the feeder.
Or alternatively just don't upgrade the feeder bots. Then they go through less crops and it influences the bio fuel production less.
