STOP IT Splunk!
is there a way to deactivate splunk? a setting to increase the duration until he starts seeding would be useful in this game. this guy is super annoying later in the game. Im at 2000 seeds of one type and he keeps seeing this ♥♥♥♥.

yea it works, but in lategame you really dont need him, cause it takes ages until the field is empty, cause thats when he starts to put new seeds on it. but Id be fine with having an empty field for a while. but yea , only worth for farming your first million.

Thanks, like the op I want my plots to revert to empty so I can rearrange them. I will avoid him for now and hopefully the dev will add an on/off toggle later.

You can use the flag on page 4 to set what seed he uses

yes but I want to reset the fields and see what I really need. just have to randomly put something on em is making it just more into a mess

I probably just put wheat signs on all fields and then place new ones..

the game said splunk will choose one from eight newest unlock, maybe you can try restart game?I don't have any better advice,
btw, you know you need to delete the flag then you can give it new one, right?

why restart the game lol, yea sure remove the flag to place a new one. but Im talking about the messy situation of not knowing how much I need. I need a clean workspace and not just randomly set seeds.

sorry and wait, it sounds like I misunderstood what you meant. I may not have understood correctly what "the messy situation of not knowing how much I need" and "Im at 2000 seeds of one type and he keeps seeing this" are.

nevermind xD. the issue is when having lots of fields and seeds are growing you cant really see when enough is enough, so I want to clear the fields before deciding what to plant next, but easiest way to solve this is probably just by using a cheap type such as wheat and then change it again. would be nice to have a "no plant" sign though :D

I roughly understand, you want a tidy field and efficient seeds for unlocking the next step. Calculate and plant only the number of plants needed to unlock. I have given up planning and let it be planted randomly.
In fact, it’s not just splunk, I hope that all NPCs can idle at home and not go out and wander around. Especially Rusty and Haiku are not only inefficient but also like to walk far away to collect a fruit.

I swear the moment a new lot was done building, he started planting random seeds without me having any time to set a sign while ignoring every other empty lots (with specified crops) for the past FOREVER AGO
He's cute as hell but such a bad employee lmfao...........

You can place signs on a field that already has crops in it. So check your seed storage, see what you'd like and then place the signs for them. He should plant that designated crop after the current ones have finished harvesting.

thanks, but you didnt read all the other posts above , it was already discussed.

Splunk just needs to ignore fields which have NO sign.

I do not know the appeal of a messy field seeded randomly with 8 different crop types... But how about a "Random"-Sign instead of automaticly assign a free-for-all behaviour to fields without signs?
