I came here to ask the same question. I played for 4 hours yesterday on my Mac, but when I loaded up the game on my Windows PC, the Mac save wasn't available to load.

If a game has cloud saves I'd expect them to work across all installations of the game.

Anyone know where the saves are located on both Mac and PC so I can move them manually?

Looks like mac saves are here:
/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/com.MisterMorrisGames.RustysRetirement/

Cloud saves should be there. It works from windows to windows.
Alternatively you can copy and paste your save file from windows to mac and use the multiple devices like this.
This would be just temporary as I am sure that the developer will fix the cloud saves as well.

It also works from Windows to Steam Deck with SteamOS. The only device I cannot sync is my Mac.

You might check your steam cloud remote storage to see where it is trying to store your saves.

Yeah, i tried copying my mac save over to my steam deck and it still didn't work.
