Unlocked new farm?

I see a message congratulate me and telling me i've unlocked a new farm? what does that mean? and how do i access it? Does it restart my progress? or is it just more space to unlock and build upon with what part and biofuel i currently have?

I have literally the same question. Just a moment ago I fully expanded left and right on my first farm and got that message. Does that really mean I have to "start all over" on a new map?

like on this starter map. Why did I spend the time upgrading all the stations if I am just gonna scrap this farm and start a new one :(

You need to start a new game and you lose all your progress and start all over once you do. There's no multiple saves either so you can't go back to the previous farm either. Wish I had known that before I started a new game for the new map

Imagine you're going to retire. Just one last farm to build and expand and relax with. Sounds like a pretty decent retirement.

Then you realize, nope, your retirement is actually building from scratch five more farms.

That is not true. You can go back and play your other maps.

There is nothing wrong with unlocking new maps. Each map has its own little challenges. It makes the game play a little longer until you have done everything.

When you press new game in the menu you will be able to start a new farm, but not to fret any other farm you own can be accessed by pressing load game just make sure you don't delete it.
