At this point, I've had two cases of corrupted saves (including yours) on PS4, ever, and at different points. If we have any way to reproduce it, we'll definitely patch it - but at the moment, and despite hundreds of hours of tests internally we've never been able to reproduce it.
In searching for this, it seems like every PS4 game I've looked at, from Minecraft to Witcher to MGS and everything in between has some reports of save corruption. It's possible there's something happening on the system side that's responsible - it's equally possible that it's some incredibly rare set of things that happen on our side.
None of that gets your data back, and I'm sorry about that. The best I can offer is that you can reset your profile on the Xbone and choose where you begin your playthrough - so you can have it start at the Dealer, and play on from there. That option isn't on the PS4 version - as I say, this is the second time anyone has ever lost data there that we know of.
I experienced around 7 crashes total when playing through to the dealer on the PS4 and only one of them resulted in data loss. I've only had one freeze while playing through on the Xbone, though the load times do seem a fair bit slower.
I actually was right at battling the dealer on the Xbone, so I just switched back and have been playing through endless to unlock some of the cards and "stories" behind them.
I, too, have experienced save corruption on the PS4 with other games, and is why I mostly play on the bone (well, that and the controller fits better in my big mitts).
You guys have done a great thing with this game and I look forward to more.
