Also don't trying him to long. let's try to complete him on fresh head
So some basics, the end bosses are Dust Peeps. Then the Dealer hitting the ground twice to to make things explode. Then Skeleton peeps. Then Dealer hitting his hands flat on the map twice to make a triangle of lasers. Then there's the rats (one of the most annoying end battle parts). The dealer doing the explosions again and rotating lasers that go from the left side of the map to the right side, explosion again, then lasers from the right side to the left side. Lizard peeps. Dealer making the WHOLE map explode-y, lasers that go from the left to the right, then more huge explode-y, then lasers that go from the right to the left.
For the 1st round of dealer stuff: Be at the middle of the map closest to you and stand there for both explosions.
2nd round of dealer B.S: Be at the top left corner both times.
3rd round: Start at the top left hand corner and then when he starts his next round run over and stand at the top right hand corner.
4th round: AS SOON AS THE LAST BOSS DROPS make your way to the bottom left hand corner (I haven't found a way to avoid the 1st big explosion without taking some damage so just focus on getting to the corner) and follow the lasers VERY slowly as they make their way to the right. As soon as those lasers are done go stand next to the corner of the book at the lower right hand corner to avoid both the final explosion and the initial laser blast before you start moving to the left to go with the lasers.
Now for everything else. First off this is the list of items I ALWAYS try to have before I enter into every fight:
Fleet Cuffs
Cold Armor
And a big weapon (Battle Hammer is best from the Metal Ore+Holy Forge cards, but Scorching Zeal or Thunderstrike work too)
Time Heals or Spirtwalk artefacts (Only get Spirit Walk if Time Heals never comes up but if you go through the whole game not finding Time Heals buy Spirit Walk if you come across it cause you might be able to sell it in the final store and buy Time Heals which is exactly what happened to me right before the last fight where I beat the game)
Herne's Antlers
Optional items:
Ring of Justice (Only use your weapon ability in the final fight when you have this ring because then it's like having an extra boost of Time Heals on you)
Emperor's Jewel Shield
Soul Gem (I didn't get this til literally the last run through the game where I beat it so I got it...then never actually got to use it but everyone says it's super helpful for your curses)
Time for stats for the monsters
If you have your big weapon, and are at full health each round, run up to where the dealer first lays the cards down for your monsters and pop that weapon ability off AS SOON AS they start coming out of the ground then roll the hell away from them.
If there's a stationary object that helps them out the whole time, then destroy it first. DOES NOT WORK FOR THE LAST ROUND WITH THE SCALE FAMILY! (More on that later)
Round 1 Dust Peeps: Dodge, dodge, dodge and try not to use your Time Heals at all in this round if you can help it. If you have to wait to pop it, do it right before the Skeleton people spawn. Take out the King first and always attack him when he's doing the bomb drop and just standing there.
Round 2 Skeleton King: Not much is really hard about this fight so I don't really have any tips for this, but hit the king when he's shooting off his huge laser.
Round 3: This is my most difficult round because of the rat that disappears and re-appears. Take out the stationary thing and throwing guy first. Then dodge dodge dodge the shadow one. As soon as he does any shadow thing just roll as far as you can away from him. And as soon as he's done with a shadow ability attack the crap out of him then dodge away. The other guy is pretty easy once the other ones are dead.
Round 4: NONE OF THE OTHER ENEMIES WILL DIE IF THE KING IS NOT KILLED FIRST. SUPER IMPORTANT! Not even that stationary thing that shoots fire will go down first unless the king is dead. KILL THE KING FIRST!!! Then the Queen and the last guy is super easy
Stack your decks with as many money making/cards that don't do anything as much as possible. Throw cards in there that will get you blessings because since you can't get blessings nothing will happen so it's one less bad thing to happen. The Maiden card, and Ghost of the Sea cards are SUPER important so make sure there in there. If you don't have the items I said above, when you get to the end and it's the 1st card you appear on, store card, dealer card: Just go back and forth out of the store card and the 1st card and buy an item or two until at least one of those items are artefacts appear. Sell all your useless items if you have to including your Killing Streak ring cause I never have had that in an end battle because I always sell it so it doesn't affect anything really. Also if you need to, buy a little food so you can keep going in and out of the store and make sure you buy as much heath as til your 100% healed if you have Time Heals.
Hope this helps! May Fate be in Your Favor!
The solution is actually stupidly simple.
1) Make sure you get to the dealer with full hp or as close as you can get, even higher than full is best.
2) Get the artifact card that restores your hp to what it was when you entered the fight. It's the hour glass one. Time heal I think?
Voila, you now have the equivalent of ~400hp assuming you started the fight at 100hp.
In order to get through, you need to open some cards, and create a comfortable deck. As a result, having a sword of kraken, shield, artifact of gorn, you can pass the boss, I have accumulated another 200 hp ..
Lerne's Helmet
Thunderstrike
Veteran's Ring
Time Heals (Honestly this is the most important one. Having multiple lives is a game changer.)
My shield and armor didn't really add much.
I haven't unlocked some of the cards above that people are recommending but pretty much I think if you have Lerne's Helmet and Time Heals with a 30+ weapon you can do it. Got my ass handed to me in the Rat portion of the fight but Time Heals pretty much negated it. Just keep trying!
Also it might help to have the Emergency Ring just to give you that one extra chance in case you don't time the Time Heals well. I didn't end up having to use it myself but it is nice to know you have that safety net when it all hits the fan.
