Any still play this game?

I just bought it cause I'm a big fan of war robots, but pixonic, that always have been greedy, is becoming even more. And I'd like to find a similar game to it that is not head over heels on milking it's playerbase.

This looked like it could be it, but I cannot find anyone that still plays. It's a shame, because it seems to be a good game.

Is the game still being worked on?

I'd like to hear from the dev. I could refund it before 2 weeks time if I don't hear anything from them. I like the game, but as it is, it's pretty useless if no one plays and it's dead before arrival.

There has been a big update in the works for a very long time now. I've owned the game since the original release into EA and theyve made great strides. However development lately has been exceptionally slow, with very little communication. Not a dev obviously, but unfortunately the playerbase that did exist was mostly waiting for the new update. I'm still hopeful it'll come out eventually, but if having a constistent playerbase is the most important factor to you, it's probably not gonna exist for awhile.

Well, as long as it's not abandonned, I don't mind waiting... this game has a lot of potential. Seeing War Robots popularity, there is quite a market to this genre. But from what I've seen from the upcoming mech games, few takes notice of what makes War Robots so popular and enjoyable. If Pixonic wasn't been so greedy, the game would be just perfect. But they want you to spend, and badly now.

We are still working on the game and are working now on finishing up a new patch which will replace the current live version with the new version in the new engine. We are having to self fund the game at this time so development is slower than we would like but we are still working on it.

As far as a refund goes, if you do not want to invest in a game that still has a good ways to go you can refund, otherwise you can stick around and try out new updates as they come. We obviously cannot say what people will be playing, our plan is to keep updating with new content and more fixes and once the game is in a release state we will look more into advertising it.

It is very early alpha right now so it is mainly up here for people who want to try it out early in development and see how it evolves. Our focus at the moment is to tighten up mechanics and fix any major issues before adding a lot more content. Plus we welcome any community feedback on the game. Our goal is to make it the best we can. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

I'm not sure what is going on either, but all the bashing I see in the forums isn't going to motivate the Dev's to get it done. Sounds like they are doing it on their own time now.

We wish more than anyone that it would not take as long as it is and had we known when we put it on steam that things would change the way they had we would have waited before putting it up. But without some kind of funding we are limited to working on it during the time we have left from the work we have to do to keep the company running. We have periods of no time and periods of more time. We recently did a multiplayer test and the game is looking much better in multiplayer with the new patch, however we did run into a new list of bugs so we still have some things to fix before we release it. We do not want to release a buggy mess that we know is broken so we are trying to iron out any major issues we know about before releasing it.

Meh this game is dead as it pretty much gets, no one really plays this at all. I had hopes something interesting would come out of this. Waste of 15 bucks got nothing out of it. Boring, and extreme lack of progress.
