Report a translation problem
While moving a cabinet (when it's half see-through) you can hold down the E button and move the mouse to rotate along the Y axis. If you hold Shift + E and move mouse, you'll rotate along the other 2 axis. It's not the most natural kind of rotation, but does work.
You can use the gravity gun too.
1. Select a cabinet (so it gets highighted)
2. Press the O button to toggle physics
3. Press the Z button to pick it up with your invisible gravity gun
4. Drop it where you want it by pressing the Z button again.
5. Press the O button again to turn physics back off on the object & update its starting point
