Saving maps.

Is there any way i can design my arcade, log out, then log back in in a later session?
Every time i leave my arcade all my progress, cabinets, and props are deleted and i spawn back in a fresh map.

Odd the game should be saving as you place items... Did you set any save files to read only?

No, I just chose the play game option, then when i was done i clicked leave. came back and everything was gone. If they are set to read only, how might one reverse it?

well here is the directory for your saves... Backing up the file may be useful at times. They are usually [nameofmap].set and can be opened with notepad if any thing.

~\steam files\steamapps\common\Anarchy Arcade\aarcade\maps

Check the date modified for the .set file that coresponds with your map. If it does not match todays date, check the properties of it. make sure readonly is unticked.

Honestly not 100% sure what caused the issues so I'm going with past experience...

Else we can try to verify the cache, but even if it finds errors, usually they are just files that were changed due to gameplay.

Metaverse mode is like a persistent world we all share. The changes we make there get auto-saved to the cloud. However, since metaverse mode is still in the testing stages, some maps may be reset every once in a while.

If you ever load into a map in metaverse mode and you see nothing in the map, try re-loading it. It seems that if your PC fails to connect to the database when the map loads, it appears as if its empty again.

Singleplayer mode is automatically saved locally.

Interesting... it actually doesn't reset if you enter via the "Custom Game" option... odd.

Thanks for the tip. "enter via the "Custom Game" option". It's saved in there. Is there an option to continue so it would load your most recent arcade?

that would be the "Play Now" button, I believe. or, it would at least reopen the same map, after I already loaded it on the same session.

guys HOW DO I SAVE. i'm in the lobby and i don't want to start over and a don't even SEE a custom game option..i booted up the software and it spit me out in the lobby.
