Stuck On Mac M1 MacBook Air
When I open the game everything is frozen on the menu screen, I don't have a mouse cursor or any way to exit out of the game either without restarting my Mac. Any idea what the issue is and a fix?

Sorry to hear, apologies for your inconvenience.

This is quite rare bug I'm afraid - haven't heard about this before.
Therefore I'm not sure how to fix this, but here's few things we can try!

First I would try to disconnect all other external devices - such as mouse etc. Perhaps game thinks you have a controller plugged in and therefore mouse doesn't show up?
If you have an external monitor plugged in, you might want to try without it - just a guess.

I personally have M1 MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.3, do you have same version of MacOS or newer? Updating MacOS might help - but again this is just a guess.

One thing we could try is adding -force-d3d11 to launch options and see if it helps?
  1. Open your Steam Library
  2. Right click the game's title and select Properties.
  3. On the General tab you'll find Launch Options section.
  4. Enter the launch options you wish to apply
  5. Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

I hope one of these would help, let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your reply,

My mac was actually due to do an update tonight so I'll try these and let you know if using the latest version fixes the issue.
