Not sure, if you have gotten it already, but I think achievement itself is about moving slightly vertically.

I don’t even remember how I got this achievement, but it pretty much frayed my nerves

That's just the only explanation I have how I got it myself anyways :P When I was just rolling over thing and hit the wall and went upwards a little bit and achievement popped.
