How to Import 3D Models and Media into Game Guru - Complete Video Tutorial
With the launch on steam I noticed a lot of Steam users are curious how to bring in custom models into the engine. I created this simple tutorial on how to import 3D models into Game Guru using 3D Studio Max. I am using 3DS Max 2014. If you are using a different 3D Modeling program, don't worry. Many other programs support the ability to export to .X DirectX files. Just look for a plugin that is compatible with your 3D modeling software.

Here is the video tutorial:

That is a really fantastic and clear tutorial thank you.

However, it is quite an indepth process compared to the pipeline for other engines! Hopefully one day we can just get a drag and drop option, with the settings in that fpe file accessable in the editor?

Other format for import are very high on the suggestions from the community. As far as drag and drop into the engine, if enough of the community would like that feature added we will look at the options.

Thank you for your suggestion, and keep them coming.
I request that this vital and excellent tutorial be stickied or put in the tutorials section.

EDIT: nevermind I saw there is a guide on this in the guides section and that the process is actually easier than this tutorial because it uses a model importer from directly within the engine, which was exactly what I was looking for.
