game guru max worth it?

hello i spent over 1000 hours in game guru classic and i enjoy it alot - i generally don´t like to pre-order but 49.99 is quite alot and i wonder if i should snatch the discount now?
anybody has tested it that could give me an impression of the improvements?

some questions i have
i have no clue about coding and i hope that Max will help in that regard somehow?
Is the character creator better?
Is there a more easy way to customize Ui, title and loading screen ?

Hold out for the Demo version.
You can then test it yourself but off the top of my head.

Max has Dynamic Lua so that will make things easier
Max does have a better character Creator ( depending on what your expecting )
Customising the UI remains the same.

Well when you have buy all the packs you bought for GameGuru again and cannot import them then it is definitely NOT worth. Also depends how stable the software runs. The now classic Gameguru crashes constantly when I am testing stand alone games and the devs do nothing about it.

There are plenty people discussing this for years that Gameguru is not stable but well.

As I said for me it would be worth if you can use your old packs or at least get the converted ones for free. Otherwise I wouldn´t even think of buying this again and spend hundreds of dollars for content...

Sounds like you making assumptions and incorrect ones as well.
Max is backward compatible and all your GameGuru assets you have purchased will work just fine in fact many will look better.

Its quire similar to GG and will likely be just like it. So what you can do with GG without coding will also be possible in Max. If there will be more scripts or functions out of the box remains to be seen.

Well, if you aim for custom characters, I can only advise you to get into basic rigging and modeling. There will be some improvements that can already be seen in the alpha compared to the GG version, but the character creator so far has been an orphan feature and for your games quality sake I can only say : Make it yourself.

Well, so far its the same but there might be. Easier in what way? what do you find difficult in GG, maybe I can link you to some tutorials.
