So:
Step 1, what graphics card is in your machine, and what version of windows are you using?
Step 2, if both your graphics card and windows version are DX11 capable, go to your GameGuru
folder and in there should be another folder with some dirctX and microsoftNet redistributables, run them, restart your machine and try to run GameGuru.
DirectX 10.1 you would need to download the DirectX 9 Version of Game Guru.
If you do use DX9 version you are not going to have a great time running Game Guru on a HD2000 GPU it's way to slow, and it looks like you may only have 2GB of System Ram.
You do need to up date the spec of your computer, an extra 2GB of Ram and a GT1030 2GB Card for the DX9 version The DX11 version would work best with a total of 6-8GB of ram, and Min a GT1030 2GB card.
Ok so if you don't want to spend much money there are lots of second hand Graphics card out there that are DX11 and 1GB Vram these woud get you up and running for about £20-£30. Be sure you have a PCI-e slot on your Motherboard for it to fit into. and have at lest 4GB of system ram.
I'm happy with my GT1030 and RX550 for use with Game Guru but if you ask me the Min card you should get for Game Guru I would say a GTX 1050 or RX560, with 8GB of System Ram.
A note for you and others reading this, Nvida have just put a new GT1030 on the market this is a 20 Watt DDR4 version it's a lot slower than the 30 Watt GDDR5 version do not buy it for Game Guru get the GDDR5 Version.
This card should have been called the 1010 or 1020. talk about misleading people.
Go to your steam library and right click on GameGuru
Select Properties...Then the "Beta tab"
From the Dropdown Menu select " public-release-last-dx9- "
This will then roll you back to the original DX9 version before the update
