Thoughts & Suggestions
I def. liked this game more than Voidtrain, even just by playing the Demo, because I like basebuilding & towerdefense more.

What I missed:
> A note that you can place multiple drivetrains to increase speed
> A dark-mode for the control panels (like a button to cycle black>gray>white)
> Colored lights (how about to paint them cozy yellow/orange'ish
> That the heater heats the whole compartment, not just a 2m area in front
> player being able to go through a slim-frame door even when the train is slightly angled
> Train slowing down faster when power to (hover)engine is cut
> obviously situational music and sound effects
> A visual hint on the collector-drones when they deliver stuff to their stash (re-use the beam they pick the items up with?)
> Some areas are locked, some notes for keys/codes seem to have no apparent door/keypad related to them (i havnt found the door for the furniture-puzzle code 4233 and the "keep-an-eye-on-the-lights" puzzle, also havnt found any hint for the control-room door of the botany-building on the radio tower mountain)
> Also would be great that if you save the game just where u defeated drones, they are excluded when you reload the save from spawning again
> Maybe increase the range of the ext. light? maybe?

the door for that furnature puzzle is at the base of where you find the furnature. on the south side.

the 2nd Laboratory is a long climb away from the tracks, there is a radio tower on a mountains, ( indicated by a light , like all radio towers ) There you will find the Bulding for the " light counting puzzle". ( If you dont want to search yourself you should also find video to the location on youtube )

I would like some shop to exchange one kind of item to another (of course player will lose something on that exchange) because I have one kind of item so much and nothing to do witch it. Some kind of snowspeeder to move around faster with some kind of hangar for it on the train. Fabrication ofcartridges (by using tech scrap and some kind of paint flower things to make) because players love to customize their trains and amount of cartridges in the game is just not enought. I also would like to see half glass walls and radiationproof walls. Screen for weather (ceeling mounted) and damage indicator screen (ceeling mounted) because I never know when or where my train sustain any damage or when on repair mode all damaged parts will be indicated color red or something.

i very much aggree.

- customisation could be improved, but i rather have more story before that.
- the train looks to clean. to sterile.
- damage indicators would be a great addition.

- for me. i kinda would like to have an on/off switch for the reactor in the power panel, so we have more control over fuel comsumption.

- and probably for later chapter i think i would enjoy the storm getting nastier, maybe icing the train or somthin like that. ( i dont know how child the dev the games want to be though?) At the moment there is not that much pressure or challenge on the player... ( i allready play on hard)
- longer travel distance and stronger storm would give us a a need for the reactor. up till the dome i hadly had a use for it...

For the amount of walking you have to do in this game, it needs an autowalk-key.

I also feel that heat needs a more visible indicator. The screen frosting is nice and all, but at that point, you are seconds away from freezing already. Like say, a thermometer inside the train?

needs a hud in top right or left corner with the map of the tracks and last and next station which tracks your location on the map so you know when you are close to the next station. and highlight areas that may have secret locations to explore and find.
How about a remote-controlled camera drone in Chapter 2 or 3 to explore the area instead of walking? With batteries, headlights or night vision and, from Chapter 4, weapons. It could be landed in a cave during a storm or in other buildings with a door-opening function. But if you find something, you have to go and get it yourself.
I thought of a few more things; diffrent car sizes like small (1/3 of current available in the game), medium 2/3, and full size. A train caller like maybe in the future you will have to do something in far station go there on foot to open gate or bridge and then call train to your position, drones like scout drone with camera to control by the player, repair drone to automatically repair your damaged parts but need manual refuel at the train, railway switch to choose your path that you want to go - that actually will be interesting it will make it like more open world experience to decide witch station you want to go now.
There needs to be a storm warning screen for your train, preferably wall mountable, and fits with the heater on same panel, either above or below.
