Unfortunately, it's been years since I've even cracked open the source code and I'm not entirely sure that it's something that I can easily fix. I'll see what I can do .. if it's something I think I can pull off in a few days I'd be happy to add it, but it's probably reasonable to assume, for now, that the answer is "no, sorry, it doesn't work".
Darn, having someone playing the game 2-player with arcade-like controls would be pretty sweet!
Sorry! If I manage to find a way to make this work, I'll post back in this thread.
Thanks, it would be appreciated. I will post a picture of us playing on the custom arcade panel if you add it to the game.
Well, I appreciate the response, even if you do not add to the game. A lot of developers would not respond to a request like this for a smaller-scaled completed project. I would happily support a developer like this... I'll look for your other projects.
Thanks agian.
Now, you can use "numpad 0" (numlock has to be on on your keyboard, I'm afraid) to add a key-only player. There's a second button in the key settings dialog that'll give you the key assignment options for that player.
Hopefully your arcade thing can emulate numpad 0 as player 2 start.
If you have any questions or if anything doesn't work, let me know
Moving to new development tools moved to a newer version of the windows development kit, which for some people seems to not properly install when it's a 32-bit app (like Procyon) running on a 64-bit Windows.
The short version is: I couldn't figure out what was wrong and it totally runs on my machine, so I had to back out the change.
If I can figure out what went wrong, I'll fix it and put a new build up again with the change in it. If not, then sadly it looks like Procyon is stuck how it is :(
