[Spoiler] Solution to Puzzle #37

Puzzle #37 is a timed fifteen puzzle, doing this in under 45 seconds earns you a mighty Ascendant Ring (+50 Attatck) which is very handy. Beating this puzzle using human brain power is achieveable and there are people who can do these puzzles this quickly. Sadly I am not one. After a fruitless half hour practising I decided to google for the optimium answer and stumbled on a 15's solver that can work out the minimum steps required - credit where it's due:

For those who just want the speediest solution: (imagining you are the blank square that moves around)

Doesn't seem to work.

Make sure every input is registering, often the first 'Right' you input doesn't register with a tile move, it's most noticable if you play with sound on - you should here a response to every key press, if you don't hear it, then it didnt register.

I just used this solution and it worked, there's a trick to it though. Basically all the steps need to be reversed, if it says Right it actually means Left, Down is Up etc. Try it with that in mind and you should get all the chests in one go.

I also noticed the time requirement for this puzzle was expanded past 45s to like 90s? Or was it just me

This solution is correct. Either reverse the directions listed or hold your gamepad controller upside down and follow the listed directions.

No worries, I can reverse the directions for you all ahead of time the original solution worked for me but if it helps others, here are the directions inverted:

Left, down, left, down, right, right, up, left, down, down, right, up, up, right, down, left.

Up, up, left, down, down, right, up, left, left, up, right, right, down, left, down.

Down, left, up, right, down, right, up, right, up, up, left, left, down, left, up.

I logged in just to thank "drn" for his solution, which worked perfectly. I had been stuck on that puzzle for a long time. I did only get the ogre ring though.

maybe they patched it so that it gvies an ogre ring now. i may have taken longer due to having to switch between guide and game, but opening all the chests net me an ogre ring. (Thankfully still have an ascendant ring from another place, but another would have been nice.)
