stuck in the volcano area need help

i've reached the point where you have to enter the volcano. the problem. except a few chest, there's nothing in it. am i supposed to walk on the lava. where can i get fire protection then ?

Yes - you have to walk on the lava. Sorry, there is no protection against the lava.

Yeah, I love this game, but I really didn't enjoy dungeons like this or that marsh where you're forced to take dmg from walking - I get that it's one of many callbacks to final fantasy nostalgia, but it just creates frustrating/tedious gameplay in my opinion

The marsh you can avoid the walking damage by making everyone immune to poison. You can craft 4 poison immune rings soon as you get the ship. They cost 10k each but that's really easy to get at the casino.

Personally I'm fine with the lava damage betting unavoidable, but it is rather extreme in the amount of damage it does. It's fair for very hard or legendary, but the players who selected an easier mode it's too high.

And ya it doesn't scale with difficulty. Iirc It's always 2% per step.
