Stoneshard in the sense that it is turnbased, but combat is not like pokemon.
There is also Elona/Elona+, non steam game that is f2p.
I guess your could argue Terraria is also similar to OWH more than stoneshard, but that falls basically into 2d minecraft. Stoneshard, last time I played it didn't have houses/building.
I did sub to this thread, I do love OWHs.
One Way Heroics 2 is technically also in development but has no release date and makes considerable gameplay changes. Main one being the inclusion of a card based system.
TLDR: Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics is the closest you'll get to a game like this (which makes sense as its a spin-off). Otherwise you could try one of the many Mystery Dungeon (Grid based dungeon crawler rougelike) games out there.
