Any games similar to this?

Title lol, but yeah I liked games like this style but it's hard to find any that has replayability.

Stoneshard in the sense that it is turnbased, but combat is not like pokemon.
There is also Elona/Elona+, non steam game that is f2p.
I guess your could argue Terraria is also similar to OWH more than stoneshard, but that falls basically into 2d minecraft. Stoneshard, last time I played it didn't have houses/building.

I did sub to this thread, I do love OWHs.

As mentioned above there's the official spin-off, Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics; other than that there are no other games I'm aware that are identical in gameplay. Closest thing I can think of would be games in the Mystery Dungeon series (a series by Spike Chunsoft; who also created MC:OWH but there are other companies that have done their own takes of the genre). Me personally I played the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series prior to One Way Heroics so the grid based combat was something I was already familiar with. While it has mixed reception, I also personally enjoyed Etrian Mystery Dungeon and used that game to wait for One Way Heroics Plus to release on Steam.

One Way Heroics 2 is technically also in development but has no release date and makes considerable gameplay changes. Main one being the inclusion of a card based system.

TLDR: Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics is the closest you'll get to a game like this (which makes sense as its a spin-off). Otherwise you could try one of the many Mystery Dungeon (Grid based dungeon crawler rougelike) games out there.

Did they remove the tweet/player ghost system from the Switch release of this? Can't find an answer anywhere.

I also second etrian mystery dungeon, although I honestly prefer the mainline etrian odyssey games more. Spike Chunsoft also makes the Shiren the Wanderer games, which are closer to OWH just because they are rougelikes as well. I am personally not a fan, but they might be worth checking out. Also I would love to know where you found information about OWH 2, I have not heard that they were making a sequel before!
