Old z8games account sign in?

When I launch the game, it tells me to register. I don't see a way to log in to an already existing account. If I try to re-register with my email it says it's already been used.

At this time, it is not possible to link an existing account with Steam service. Only new players will be able to utilize steam service to play Lost Saga.

Players CANNOT link their Z8games account to that of Steam.
Reason being is that integrating Z8games account to Steam poses a high technical risk, which can lead to undesired consequences.

Accessing DLC requires a Steam account made on Steam.

Other games integrate steam and have their own way of doing things so why cant this one? Also what is this horse about "technical risk" exactly?
