I find no "p2w" advantage when I use the White Reaper or the Rage Zerker in game. Ex. I can still get pwn'd by a Medic Merc if I am playing like a casual scrub.
They are prominently cosmetic variants to the basic and epic gears, along with the hero itself, and the medals*.
(*which are great, but not so great simultaneously. Grim [+10SPD] Rage [+10STR])
The Legendary package is a triple-feat of the initial release of Rocket Launcher Helmet, along with the repeat sale of the gears that showed up alongside it during its shop debut.
Essentially, the legendary package was made to give users a chance to get the gears after they had left the shop. Seeing how NALS launched on Steam a week after the sale of the gears had ended.
Not overly relevant TBH.
Striker Armor is still favored over B-Boy Outfit.
Rocket Launcher helm received a minor nerf, and otherwise isn't an amazing skill to begin with.
Laser Trinket is nice, but it's outclassed by other things.
The 30-Day Trial Scroll is otherwise not a big threat, nor a threat to the in-game economy despite being the highest $:GP item available for purchase. It can't give Permanent heroes, so it's in no way dangerous or an advantage.
Literally, the only things that are dangerous advantages are the meta/high-performance gears. Most of which are losing favor due to the release of Ronin (Wanderer).
Just saying, play the game, enjoy, chillax, don't take it serious.
I mean, the game is labeled [CASUAL] after all.
So your saying its somwhat p2w, just dont take it seriously. im good.
You can hae a casual game be competitive. Skill first, wallet never, that is how scoring should always be. Battleblock Theatre is casual, but still competitive in that its not p2w and has pvp.
Beserk and White Reaper are not worth it IMO. if you try those two heros in game you will still find yourself stuck at a stand still.
IMO claiming this game to be p2w would be admitting to everyone that you're really bad at the game. Admittedly I pay for some of the items in the shop, though it's to support the game, and to keep it from being dropped again.
the trial scroll is daily GP (and unisex packages if you havent played the hero before) which is nice but not all that great since you can obtain alot of GP from other things
beginners package.. well I admit I bought this just for cosmetic items- while its good for the beginning stages of the game, you'll soon realize that it'll be replaced/outclass by other gears
I hoped this help
