Grounded one or two

Do you recommend playing grounded one before grounded two or doesn’t it matter many thanks in advance

I would highly recommend 1 before 2. You dont NEED to for the survival/crafting aspect. But 2 is a straight up continuation of the story/narrative from 1.
If you start 2 without playing 1, almost nothing thats happening or being said will make sense, because you wont have the context. So you wont really enjoy the main drive of the game.

Play Grounded 1 and take as much time as you can. By the time you play Grounded 2 it might have few updates in. If you're lucky, it will be a bit more optimized. Story is not deep, but for context it's better to play 1.

yh play 1 alot of stuff in 2 is really bad atm like the ui is terrible and clunky

Play 1 this game isn't even finished so there's no point in playing this if you never played the first

I'd suggest 1 then 2 this looks some what like a follow on game.

2 is still in early access and needs some time to bake (performance issues especially bad right now).

Grounded 1 is arguably the best survival builder game ever made, so if that genre is what you are looking for it's very much worth playing.

Grounded 1 for sure its got the better game play for the hours you will get out of it.

I like both however why Grounded is higher for me is I’ve never had another game let me have the Honey I Shrunk the Kids experience. As much as I like Enshrouded it (overall) is just another flavor of the survival craft that already have a ton of titles such as Valheim and other similar games.

subnautica is incredible too- it's better than grounded.

agreed- but there was way too much grinding in grounded- it got tedious- hopefully they smooth it out in 2.

you quit 1 on the sandbox? I am surprised you said it was worth buying then. But I understand where you are coming from- I quit the game for months then would come back to it out of boredom and it got a little better.

this is why subnautica is better- I never felt bored and I never felt it was a grindfest,
