Also the award for worst gun goes to the hedgehog gun, its damage is not nearly enough to compensate for how worthless it is at anything but point blank range. Plus it has major problems on both Gumball and Maw. Consolation Charger is a much better shotgun-style weapon.
This is the sentence where I got confused with the starting gun thing srry :P
But yeah I kinda agree that the hedgehog gun is one of my least favourites. It's really hard to do some decent damage to gumball with it.
Not that it helps. If I get battlements, it's GAME OVER. If I get the Gumball Machine, it's GAME OVER. The jump item luck/exploit from closed beta is long, long gone - so there's no quick way to kill it. Huff.
0 fun fighting that thing. I hear of a "Maw", but in my brief moments at the sanctum - the Gumball Machine just ruins everything...
Sorry? Babel only needs 24 tank kills, that's like six Logistics runs, if not less. That's actually one of the easier unlocks.
Are you finding Battlements and Gumball Machine really hard?
Unfortunately it's not very good against groups, I kind of wish it had a piercing rail gun like effect at level 4 and above or something.
I've managed to finish the game on normal quite a few times with it though, so I think it's pretty good.
A Piercing-enable item or gun mod has been requested before, especially for this weapon. Hopefully blankslatejoe will deliver!
Yes. I got my first win today. In 10 runs, I've found but ~2 in the Logistics area total. Otherwise, I'd have the achievement done. I have the firepower - but they don't spawn. Literally few. Should I be jacking up the difficulty?
The Gumball Machine is fine until that halfway point. Then it's "GEAR CHECK" and I usually lose. Evading damage while having to look up usually means I bump into something and the downward slide to the first level is pretty much assured. More miffed about the lack of achievement fodder - tanks. (since they actually mean something in this game.)
It's the only one I have.
You should also have the portable pizza thrower, and if you keep playing the consolation charger is only a few games away. :)
