For reference I've finished every mission and it's now happened twice.
I'm also getting very bad performance with big frame drops. Happy to provide more information if desired.
Love the game, just finished it and will be reccomending it despite the performance and bugs.
My current plane is heavy, in fact too heavy for the back wheels which blow up when the plane loads. I tried deleting the plane and starting over, and found that it worked. Just the cockpit alone loaded fine, then the fuselage, the wheels, etc... kept adding stuff and trying to plane every time, and it worked.
Until I put on the fuel tank, which was apparently too much for the wheels to handle, leading to them blowing up on the runway--and suddenly I'm stuck in the edit screen again.
Everyone with this bug, please try building the plane bit by bit until you hit the bug again, it might help trace the problem down.
