Balloon softlock

I put two large balloons on a cockpit and clicked the "fly" button to go to the research tree at base, turns out: you takeoff immediatly and don't even have the time to go back into plane assembly...

I'm essentially locked out of the game, only option is to create a new save.
I don't know if there's a way to pop balloons or control their lift (like, ballonnets or something) in any way, but if there isn't, that would be great.

A way to force enter the edit plane tree could be neat too

This might help your situation depending on the weight of the cockpit.

Something I tried to do which helped was to click the return to base button then when the screen is still black, press escape. You know you got it when the screen comes back normal and the window for the edit aircraft window is there. You then have to spam the click button above that while you press escape again in the hopes that it lets you in. It took a long while for me. eventually i gave up and came back later with which it seemed to work way better ( I was gone for maby about an hour or so.)

hi, i did this too by accident but if you go to base and on black screen press esc and once it loads it pauses your game soon as your on, after that make sure you have your mouse over the build editor and unpause then click straight after
