Physics/flight model suggestion
When a plane banks, it should turn. I find the controls a bit off because this doesn't happen, in this game, rolling -only- rolls the plane, the lift vector doesn't seem to change. Hopefully this is not asking too much of a cute little plane game, and it's not the end of the world if this is not implemented, but I feel like it would be a very nice quality of life/realism fix.

Maybe it can be added as an optional physics model, in case some don't like it that way.

I was just about to comment this, makes flying a bit more difficult when you expect the plane to turn and it doesn't. :)

love the game btw

Thank you for the suggestion! I will do some experiments with it.

Had this same thought. The lift force vector should point up (orthogonal) to the wings. Currently banking feel weird because it doesn't turn your plane and also you don't loose some upward (towards the sky) lift either. You would expect to lose skyward lift because some of force that was previously keeping you aloft is now working toward turning instead of just keeping you up as it would in level flight.

I would also add that I can fly a plane with one wing with only minor aileron (roll) corrections so it feels like the lift isn't being produced from the correct point on the wing or the body is producing lots of lift or something like that.

I think the concept is really fun and I would love to play a full game.
This is exactly what I was thinking! Love the game and would love to see lift implemented this way to turn while banked
