Is the move funtion bugged?
Hey. When I use "E" to move buildings, 90% of the time it does absolutely nothing. Does it have a timer or is the game just ignoring my command?

I have to spam the button (and it can take minutes with nothing happening), swapping to Q and then back to E does nothing, restarting doesn't fix anything, unplugging the controller changed nothing. Anyone else? It's ridiculous and makes it impossible to rebuild the layout.

Yes I do know the "Extracting Channel" can't be moved.

It fixed itself after like 15 minutes. I don't know but there seems to be some sort of bug that occurs if you use E to move things too fast.

If anyone struggles with the same, just, wait it out I guess?

sounds kind of like you have an extra input happening. Like something is clicking that you aren't aware of.
Do you have any macros that run a left click input? If you have any macro software like razer synapse can you try turning that off?
I recently found that if i rest my cell phone on my lap top track pad with a mouse plugged in then my cursor will spaz... Do you have multiple input devices?

No such thing no, no macro. The closest thing that exists on my PC is an auto-clicker that has to be running and enabled with F6. That would have caused issues with everything not just E specifically. (Q worked just fine in this scenario)

No multiple input devices after unplugging the controller.

what software runs the auto-clicker? can you run the game with this software turned off?

I said it has to be running (as in, I have to turn it on for it to interfer) and has to be enabled with F6.

It's not running and not enabled.

Sounds good, sorry I misunderstood. For your original question: there's no timer on it. It should work smoothly and at-will.
I guess the only note is that E doesn't operate the same way that Q does. If you press Q while your mouse is over empty space you get the "Disassemble" tool from the build menu which attaches to your cursor. Then you can click the machine you want to destroy. For E there isn't a tool that will attach to your cursor.

Your cursor must be over the machine you want to move before you press E. Otherwise it does nothing.
