celestial foam set me back probably a few hours if not more

tried to delete excavator to reset and dig some lower tier stuff again, but now i have half a mil of celestial foam between me and being able to get a tier 2 excavator again...

so now I have to unironically use only tier 1 excavators until i get that research facility or clear out my celestial foam.

This feels like a major oversight because this will likely take many more hours to do than simply restarting, which I hope isn't intentional.

Actually the price does reset. Just double checked that.

But yes, if you sell something with hell stones they will react. Which is why you don't want to sell those. Especially your mining channel.

No, the price goes back. The price is directly relevant to the number of that type of machine currenlty built.

Yeah sorry, was wrong about that part. My bad.
But I just sold almost everything and got to 1.9m red cubes.
Still takes way too long to get there in my opinion.

I wish there was a way to restrict the extractor to a set depth....
Or store hell gems so they dont annihilate with the celestial foam.
Cus if this keeps going, my automated setup, which is relient on hell gems for the silos, will stop...
My only sliver of hope is the decaying chromatit that randomly gives me some miniscule amounts of hell gems.

No worries. My first mistake when first playing the game - I thought the channel coolers should be placed next to emerging cubes. Had like 10 of them and couldn't figure what I was doing wrong. So I challenge you to beat me at that level of not understanding )))))) But as I progress with the game the more the challenge, the sweeter the feeling when you finally overcome.

You do at least keep less than 64 of them. So my automation has been fine. I just can't build any new silos to automate further mining sites.

Except that with the increasing depth, the amout of chromalit also decreases and so does the income of hell gems.

yeah i had to play just about as much as i had already played to get passed losing my t2 excavator. all i wanted to do was reset the depth, something i had done plenty of times so far.

The price of the Research Site is much more affordable now with the last update.

A good tip is to upgrade buildings! Like Silos especially, because that reduces the cost of placing a new one, since MK II dont count towards the total of MK I buildings.
comes in handy esp. once the hell gems get annihilated and you start relying on the hell vaults, which are stupidly expensive.

I agree I hated this phase so much, and once you finally figure it out the next phase made it even worse having to wait for resource spawns in order to progress.
