Any way for a Silo to charge another Silo?
There is an achievement called Perpetum Shmobile that hints that two adjacent silos could run forever (suposing you have the required reseources), but it seems that silos can't rechange other silos. Anyone managed to get a permanently running setup?

I think it's a bug. The achievement definitely implies that a silo should charge a silo

The word "Shmobile" is like mocking one. So no, one silo can't recharge other silo.

Well dev confirmed it can't, so the achievement is clearly just joking us lol.

I personally couldn't care less but there's achievement hunters out there that buy games purely to get 100%. If this isn't possible in this game, it'll lose out on sales purely because of that fact. Just some friendly info.

I think you'll find *attempting* to do so unlocks the achievement.

I also read the achievement as a hint at how to get full automation and was bummed out that it didn't work. Is it ever possible to get anything fully automated in this game?

You will get the achievement, but if you try placing one silo next to another, you'll notice theres no connection line between them, but the game still allows you to place it.

I don't think so, but there is at least one upgrade to the silo. You could also try using machines that need recharging less often or using multiple silos. But It will never be fully autonomous as it seems.

Which is a shame. Why don't silos simply charge other silos? The cost of needing packs of two silos per full-auto seems fair to me.
I'll be honest, it's too much busywork just re-clicking on all the silos and ressource converters all the time, so until there's a way to fully automate it I think I'll wait and won't continue.

Have you looked at the devs and publishers works? They make predominantly clicker games... Yeah they too have idle upgrades, but you still have to click to get points faster. i dont mind the ocassional clicking on a silo every odd minute. Better than clicking everything by hand, which absolutely could have been a thing in this game. I'm glad for what we got!
The only thing I'd like is a combo building of the enthropy miner and the destabiliser, but i'm not that far progressed into the game yet (I just started picking up hollow stones), maybe there is smth like that further down the line....

tbh i find it feels neither like a clicker or an idler that makes it feel really awakward;

i don´ßt feel like i have to click enough as the game to warrant my active attention but you can not leave it out of sight for long since you can not automate

feels like a blend that satisfy neither target audience

hearing silos do not fill each other is really dissapointing

It's called having an option. Silos are optional, and they eat some resources to simply do what you can easily do manually.... You can turn it into a involved clicker game by not using silos.
It's also abit of a puzzle game since you have to plan out your mining operation to min/max it. It's kinda unique in that regard, tho i havent played clicker games that extensively yet.

Oh no those poor people that have to be told how to play games, how will they ever survive?
