You cant reach the 30K Chromalit with storage, you need to outproduce the decay till you reach that number.
Seven Irridiator around a preheater did the job for me, thought it was not ideal. 8 Would be better.
I don't see how I could out-produce decay by enough, but I guess I AM also running Chromalit Reactors for red stone.
That's true, but I struggle to produce enough Celestial Foam to support that many. I'm kind of tapped out on machines since they're starting to cost in the range of 20M each.
The best option is to maximize chromalits production, you'll get red resource from their decay. To get 32k of them, you could sell a couple of void resonators or irradiators and immideately build the upgrade, while chromalits are decaying. At this moment you can peak them at more than 50k.
Yeah, that's what I did. Build 9 extra Cooling Towers, waited for Chromalit to build back up a steady state and sold them to get a major boost. Seems like I don't need to produce large numbers of the legacy resources for anything else now, though. Just Dark and Light Matter, near as I can tell.
