How do you douse yourself with the water flask on iOS (iPad Air 2)

So I play Rogue's tale on my iPad Air 2.

I have not been able to figure out how to douse myself with a water flask, for the unfortunate times I find myself on Fire. On Water maps, I know I can just step into the water, or in a well.

But I've heard you can douse yourself with the water flask, and I can't seem to do it.

If I double click the water flask, it just drinks it. If I try holding down my finger on it, that triggers the throw action, and you can't throw it on yourself.. I tried.

Also brought up the command window , and wasn't sure if /douse was a command, and it doesn't seem to be.

Also tried just moving it on to me or on my equipment. Nothing

So how in the world do you douse yourself with the water flask on iOS?

just try to drink when on fire. itll use up the flask and put you out
