Tacoma, Gone Home (both from the same makers, short and simple)
Witness (i've heard its hard but not as hard as this)
Firewatch (more atmospheric than this, some good puzzles)
Riven and Myst series (havent really played them, but they were the ones who started the genre)
Miasmata (surviving + exploration)
Odyssey (never played but seems very alike)
Norwood suite and Tales from off-peak city (Surreal and Puzzling)
After You (Similar)
