I myself actually do like the game, because it's one of those games I can pick up and play whenever and just goof off. same with the tony hawk series. There's no story or bosses, just a dumb goat being thrown around. You can play flappy goat or one of the other little minigames, or just try to get a high combo goofing around.
That said if you play it long enough it may get boring just because it's only two levels, but it's not really meant to be taken seriously. Plus there's steam workshop so you can go find other levels and addons to play around with and laugh at. Also for the explicit content you can turn that off in the options.
The most explicit content I can think of is the scary parts when you get Demon Goat, and the Skull throne for Khorne. :P And the pools of blood there.
I don't remember blood in the stuff I watched, but it's been awhile, and people tend to act a bit more ragdolly than bloody when hit. :)
Also, I just saw they did add a whole new expansion area, so maybe people on Youtube and Twitch will get back into it finally.
Also, I don't think the game started as a Youtube joke, unless you meant something else.
"The game, initially developed as a joke prototype from an internal game jam and shown in an early alpha state in YouTube videos, was met with excitement and attention, prompting the studio to build out the game into a releasable state while still retaining various non-breaking bugs and glitches to maintain the game's entertainment value."
Ah. That's probably what you meant.
Austin, don't post while drunk. :)
Troll in the dungeon....
Seriously, Terraria is a very fun game, sure it's not like Goat Simluator, or Borderlands 1/2/Pre-sequel.
I'm not sure why you'd just randomly mention it because of a terraria icon, and say that, when it doesn't have anything to do with the discussion. :)
That seems way weirder to me.
