Option to turn vibration off?
Hi, is there such an option? Can't see one anywhere

I use Wireless xbox controllers so I find this a pain as it drains battery power, and I've never been a big fan of vibration in controllers anyhow

kind of annoying how there's no option, especially when it has 4 player splitscreen... 4 wireless controllers all with vibration does not sound like a fun time to me, just a waste of batteries :P

It is possible, if you right click on GoatSimulator in your steam library -> properties -> Local files -> Browse Local files, from there go into the GoatGame/Config folder. Open up the file called DefaultGame.ini, opens with any text editor find the entry that reads:

[GoatGame.GGPlayerControllerGame]
ForceFeedbackManagerClassName=WinDrv.XnaForceFeedbackManager

and change that to:

[GoatGame.GGPlayerControllerGame]
ForceFeedbackManagerClassName=none

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out later :)

I bet this would be a viable method for other games that don't support the option on the 'in-game' settings, I'll remember to check ini file next time I run into a game that doesn't have the option to turn it off in-game.. Not only does it waste battery life but I've just generally never been a fan of the rumble feature on gamepads since the days of PSX
